Financial Summary
(as of November 2008)
The club has $1478.67 in the checking account and $10 in the bank bag
for meeting change.
This year we have collected $634 in contributions from raffles.
We spent $322.87.
There are 5 each, $10 gift certificates from Craft Supply that are used
for promotions.
Susan and Joe Essin informed the club that they will honor the program
I started several years ago in giving the club a rebate on purchases, with
some changes.
We will still receive a rebate of purchases by individuals but only on
the night that the club meets.
We will only receive a 10% rebate for those purchases of items not already
on sale, and that rebate goes to the club, not the individual.
It was not clear whether the rebate would include purchases for items they
don't consider to be turning related (i.e. is a blade for a table saw a
turning item?)
If you make a purchase during the club meeting- be sure to ask for a
duplicate receipt and that it gets into the green bank bag. I'll collect
those and turn them in quarterly for our club rebate.
